OSPA Sponsored Charity Dog Walk June 2025

On Sunday, 22nd June 2025, join us for a truly special event - the annual OSPA Charity Dog Walk on Sal! Last year’s event was a heartwarming success, with over 50 dogs walking alongside our amazing staff, volunteers and an incredible turnout from holidaymakers who joined us on the day. This year, we’re aiming higher and would love your support to make it unforgettable.

 

This year, we’ll be walking around 70 able-bodied dogs, while ensuring our elderly and disabled dogs, as well as our young puppies, still get to join in on shorter portions of the route.

 

Whether you’re on Sal or joining virtually from home, there are plenty of ways to participate:

Come along to walk one (or even two!) of our amazing dogs along the 3.5km route from OSPA to Bikini Beach.

Host your own sponsored dog walk for OSPA, at the same time to show solidarity - same day, same mission!

 

Sponsor a Dog:

Pick your favourite pooch to sponsor for just £5/€5. There’s no limit to how many you can sponsor and every sponsorship will help us take a step closer to our goal.

 

We’re fundraising for a much-needed rescue vehicle to help us respond to emergencies, support rescues, vet visits, run mobile clinics, and carry out neutering campaigns. After having to sell the vehicle we had been using during the pandemic to cover essential costs at the rehoming centre, we’re eager to regain transport independence to serve the dogs and cats of Sal better. With your help, we can achieve this!
